Opportunities to Serve Others
Being a disciple, a follower of Jesus Christ, has no meaning without the character trait of servant hood. Jesus set the example for all of us when he said, "whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matt 20:26-28, emphasis mine).
There are many ways to be a servant in both our own backyard, and in countries and cultures far away and very different from where we live. Listed below are many opportunities in which you can choose to be a servant. For more information, call the church office at 614-837-8824.
